Florida Man April 19, 2020 – Pointed a Gun at Group of Golfers

Flagler County, Florida. — Florida man got upset and pointed a BB gun at a group of golfers when he saw them driving the golf cart on a wooden bridge meant for walking, which is against the golf course regulations.

74-year-old Florida man John Orr yelled at a group of golfers who he saw driving the cart on a walk-only bridge that as the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to the officers, Orr got irritated with what he saw that he went back to his house and came back after a few minutes with his BB gun, which he pointed at the group of golfers. He didn’t like that they were breaking the golf course regulations.

The incident was partially caught on tape and is in law enforcement’s hands.

Orr was arrested on seven counts of “aggravated assault.”

Sheriff Rick Staly said, “A verbal argument turned into a man facing seven felony charges. Grabbing a gun of any kind is not the way to solve an argument and could have ended much differently. Call law enforcement if you cannot resolve it peacefully and let them handle the situation.”

The 74-year-old Flordia Man is held with a $2,500 bail and was booked into Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

Florida Man April 19, 2021 – “I’m Going to Die Tonight”

Winter Haven, Florida. — “I’m going to die tonight” was the Florida man’s last words before firing his gun at the police officers.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, a woman called 911 on Saturday to report that a gunshot had been fired to the ground by 52-year-old Larry Jenkins when she and her husband went to his Winter Haven home to pick up her 14-year-old sister.

Larry Jenkins has allegedly sexually harassed the teenager, where he exposed himself to engaging in sexual acts.

A 21-year-old woman and her husband went to Jenkins’ house to pick up the teenager. When the couple arrived at Jenkins’s house, the teen was waiting outside, Judd said.

The woman told the investigators that Jenkins tried to give the gun to her husband and asked him to shoot him. the man refused, and Jenkins then pointed the gun at himself.

Jenkins had a gun in his hand and gave it to her husband, asking to shoot him. But when the man refused to do it, he pointed it to his own head and said, “I’m fixing to get ready to die.”, as the woman reported to the sheriff.

Jenkins then fired a shot to the ground making the couple and the teenager flee and call 911 for help.

Jenkins was smoking a cigarette on the porch with his right hand inside his pocket when the police arrived. He told them he was holding a gun and stood up and walked outside while his hands were showing.

“You’re going to have to shoot me.”

The officers asked to see Jenkins’ hands, to which he refused and said, “I have a gun in my pocket.”. The officers tried to use the stun gun on Jenkins, but it only had “a small effect”, the sheriff said.

He continued to ignore the police officer’s commands, the sheriff said. Jenkins told the officers, “I’m going to die tonight,” and “you’re going to have to shoot me.”

Sergeant Dentel fired several times as Jenkins took the gun out of his pocket.

Jenkins was taken immediately to the hospital but died shortly after.

Dentel is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and state attorney and placed on administrative leave.
